I spent fifteen years in academia as a university lecturer in computer science, with thirty published papers and a background that runs from web and game development through to service design, delivery and product management. AI was my hobby long before ChatGPT - I spent my spare time training computer vision models and fine-tuning diffusion models. When ChatGPT arrived I couldn't stop thinking about the change about to hit the world, so I built Paidia to help bring AI to the public and private sector.
I had the privilege of architecting and engineering the UK Government's first public-facing LLM service, for the FCDO. Since then I have led Paidia's work with clients ranging from national institutions like the NHS and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity to SMEs and large enterprises across the private sector. I work across the whole stack, from boardroom strategy to hands-on architecture to one-to-one coaching. I'm obsessed with AI.

Delivery & transformation
Jon leads delivery and transformation on our public-sector engagements, most recently the AI governance frameworks for a London borough. He combines years of experience across a huge swathe of central and local government departments with a research background in human behaviour and HCI, and a strong grounding in service design - turning AI policy into something teams can actually use.

Gus Laios is a Product Manager and digital transformation leader with over 15 years' experience delivering complex technology programmes across the public and private sectors. He specialises in turning strategic objectives into practical, user-centred solutions, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver products and services that create measurable business value.
With a background spanning product management, delivery leadership, and large-scale digital transformation, Gus brings a pragmatic approach to solving complex challenges, helping organisations navigate change, improve services, and realise the benefits of emerging technologies, including AI.

Ross is our AI engineer, with experience spanning web and game development and full-stack work across retrieval, agentic architecture, web development and database design. Ross helps us build quickly and efficiently, and has a relentless eye for detail.
